The animals of Manor Farm are abused and neglected. the animals take over the farm, they are proud of what they have achieved and work together to create a better farm.
The animals agree to the Seven Commandments that explains how every animal is equal and how each animal should treat its fellow animal.
The pigs think so and thus decide that this ‘equal’ society must be led so that this equality will last. However over time they begin to succumb to the excesses of success and as they believe themselves to be superior intellects, the decide that only they can organize and manage the other lower animals. Amending the commandments they begin to hide their excesses and as time goes by the lower animals find themselves in the same position they were in with the humans….
The book cleverly creates characters that despite being animals have human traits; it comments on how the underlying reasons for communism are good, but how an equal society simply cannot work due to man’s inability to avoid greed and temptation.
It’s not the most exciting book ever written but it is infused with satire and comedy; it’s the commentary on human nature and the evils we can easily commit that make it so compelling.

In the end Sebastian and Olivia fall in love and marry. Orsino realises that it is Viola that he loves and she agrees to marry him. Sir Toby Belch and Maria also decide to marry! Twelfth Night ends and everyone, except Malvolio, is happy and Shakespeare speaks of the madness of love.

Matilda
This book is about a girl who has partents that call her horrible names and treat her like shes worthless. However, she is an actual genius. Ignoring all those names she gets called, pretending the way she gets treated isn't happening, she carries on with life. As she gets older she realises that her parents are in actual fact the stupid ones. Read this book to find out how she gets the better of her parents and her evil headteacher, Miss Trunchbull, as well as finding out she has a very special power.
I really liked this book. As I got reading I got more involved and more interested in the book. Every time one of her parents called her stupid or made her feel worthless, I felt angry for her, and found myself shouting at the book saying " why don't you stand up for yourself?! "
i would definately recomend this book to people.

Girls Under Pressure.
This book is called Girls Under Pressure by Jaqueline Wilso. this book is about a girl called Magda. She is tall and glamorous, Nadine is willowy and ‘gothic’ and Ellie, well, Ellie is just plain normal. The three girls have been best friends ‘forever’ but now Ellie is convinced she’s fat; Nadine wants to be a model; and Magda worries that her appearance is giving guys the wrong idea . . . They all long to change their looks and they’re all under pressure!
This book is really good because us teenage girls can actually relate to the way these girls are feeling. We always worry about our appearences, whether we are too fat,too skinny, whether out noses don't fit our faces or whether out bums are too big, or aren't big enough. Also it shows us about hoe different we all are, and how different our ambitions in life are.

Jacky Daydream- jaquiline wilson
This book is about Jaquiline Wilson's life, from the time she was born, to now. In this book she talks about the day she was born and how everybody felt. She also talks about her family, and the relationship she has between them.
I didn't really enjoy this book because it was quite long winded and boring. I got to the point where I thought this is actually killing me, I can't finish this, but I did in the end.

I wouldn't recomend this book to anyone unless they like reading biographies.

Jaquiline Wilsin - My sister jodie
This book as about a family of four. To girls, a mum and a dad. Te mum and the dad both get new jobs at a posh school called Melchester College. The grls are forced into a whole new life. Pearl, who is 11 makes new friends however her sister who is 14, doesn't fit in with the teenagers in her class. It seems that Pearl doesn't need her big sister jodie as much as jodie needs her little sister pearl.
I really enjoyed reading this book because it is written by jaquiline wilson. also every sentence in this book gets you to want to read more.
I would definately recomend this book to someone who likes Jaquiline Wilson and someone who enjoys dramatic books. However i not encourage children who are under the age of 11 and who are easily influenced.
My favourite character in this book is going to have to be jodie. This is because she is a trouble maker, she is exciting and she is not soft, she is hard and she fights back.

All carl's attention goes towards his new friend paul.
